About this file
This document is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W912P826QA039, issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (W07D Endist New Orleans, Contracting Division) on September 22, 2026. The amendment extends the quotation deadline from September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT to October 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. Prospective quoters must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the extended deadline through completion of items 8 and 15, acknowledgment on each copy of the offer submitted, or separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. The document also outlines procedures for offerors to modify previously submitted quotes.
The requirement is for procurement and destination delivery of a 3-way pneumatic control valve and controls system for the U.S. Dredge Wheeler fresh water cooling system. The existing valve is a Leslie RVMB 3-way rotary valve, 8-inch, 150 PSIG, rated at 1,800 GPM capacity. Key specifications include bronze construction (carbon steel is not acceptable), 150 RF flange connections, required outlet pressure of 34 PSIG at no flow, and a Fisher 4196-type proportional plus reset pneumatic controller with 50-159 degree temperature range. The amendment establishes a mandatory pre-award site visit (scheduled between September 29 or October 13-25, 2026), provides government responses to 23 technical questions, and establishes an additional question submission deadline of October 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. Testing must comply with U.S. Coast Guard and American Bureau of Shipping Class II piping requirements. The anticipated award value is below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold; therefore, the nonmanufacturer rule does not apply. Award will be made based on price following review of technical submissions for compliance with solicitation requirements.
