About this file
This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation for construction services related to a hurricane and storm damage risk reduction project in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The solicitation is seeking a contractor to perform work including construction of levees, floodwalls, drainage structures, and installation of geotextiles and wick drains. The amendment provides responses to twenty-seven questions from potential offerors to clarify requirements. It details quantities for various line items such as embankment fill, geotextiles, concrete, and pilings. The responses address specifics around material specifications, construction methods and sequencing, payment terms, and anticipated ground settlements. The Corps of Engineers District in New Orleans issued the solicitation, which was amended to incorporate the question and answer document.
