About this file
This amendment to the solicitation provides responses to questions from interested vendors regarding requirements for the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana, Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction Project, WSLP 110 Levee in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District is seeking a firm fixed-price contract for clearing, grubbing, placing sand fill, separator fabric, compacted clay embankment, constructing access roads, excavating drainage canals, placing culverts, fertilizing, turf establishment and other incidental work. The estimated value of the contract is between $10 million and $25 million. Questions were answered clarifying that global navigation satellite systems or static GPS will not be accepted for surveys, grass hay cannot be used for mulch, the access road included in Optional Work Area 2 will be executed at award, and base work such as clearing and grubbing may be performed concurrently with but not prior to the optional work.
