Question Answer

I noticed that Attachment 3 ‐ Contractor experience mentioned FAR 52‐219‐14 Limitations of

Subcontracting (LOS). I'm confused why this statement is in here since this is a SB set aside, and since our company is a SB, we should be allowed to subcontract 100% of this project to another SB, regardless of the contract amount. Also, the document is referencing an outdated rule LOS. The updated ruling now say that the LOS only pertains the total contract dollars spent, and it no longer reliant on the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel employees of the concern.

Updated language for FAR 52.219‐14 was included in

Attachments 2 ‐ Provisions and Clauses and Attachment 3 ‐

Contractor Experience Form.

This clause is included because this solicitation is set aside for small business. The purpose of this clause is to make sure that no more than 50% of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding certain other direct costs, will be pay to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities.

This solicitation is listed under landscaping, we wanted to clarify if there will be any mowing or landscaping needed or is it just picking up trash and emptying trash cans?

Please refer to Attachment 1 – Performance Work Statement for all of the required services for this contract. In general, mowing/landscaping will not be needed.

Will the contractor have access to a service boat to get to the campsite that is by boat only?

No, there is not a boat available. There is a dirt/service road available during the non‐rainy/muddy months of the year.

4WD is recommended.
