QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. QUESTION: The descriptions on Line Items 13 and 37 in the Addendum to Technical Specifications has 100 KVA for the Eaton Medium Voltage Assemblies (13.8 kV Snubber) (or Approved Equal). Is 100 KVA correct?
ANSWER: The correct number is 1000KVA vs. 100 KVA. The Addendum to Technical Specifications is updated.
2. QUESTION: Will the Government require a separate Field Service Specialist for the installation support (Line Items 10 and 25) at Cheatham and Center Hill Power Plants?
ANSWER: The number of Field Service Specialists is to be decided by the Offeror.
3. QUESTION: What is the transformer nameplate data for the MV switches at Center Hill Power Plant that are to be upgraded to ARC Flash Limiter Retrofills (Line Item 29). This is needed to accurately price the AFL conversion.
ANSWER: The Government does not have name plates on this piece of equipment. What we can provide is that the ratings are 1200 amp, 15KV no load motor operated disconnect.
4. QUESTION: How does the Government want Line Items 7, 8, 9 (Motor Control Centers) delivered?

6. QUESTION: Can the Government provide the salient physical, functional, and performance specifications for Line Items 13 and 37?
ANSWER: Line Items 13 and 37 are used for surge suppression between transformer and breakers that have a distance less than 50 feet and are required to prevent transformer failure due to circuit-breaker-induced switching transients.
