2. RFIs and Responses.
a. Question: Are we required to have full time inspection staff at both facilities for the duration of project?

b. Question: Would the Mechanical component fabrication activities and Structural fabrication assembly activities be going on simultaneously?
Response: Yes, inspections of the butterfly valve are required and will be available onsite.
c. Question: If not required to have full-time staff, would we be giving enough notice to perform necessary inspections?

d. Question: Project schedule shows that Fabrication started 01-2024. Can you confirm when the proposed start date for fabrication is?
Response: Please refer to uploaded 5 March 2024 schedule for updates.
The schedule should be treated as a reference, dates have not been actualized and only the durations are relevant.
e. Question: Is the start date for both facilities or we start at one facility and transition to the next facility?
-2-
Response: The expectation is that the majority of the fabrication will be performed at the primary facility in Bainbridge, Ga.
f. Question: (In reference to item 8.1) In the table showing the pricing format there are not line items for RFIs and Submittals. How would you like us to bid that portion, and do you have an estimated number for each of them?
Answer: The cost for the review of submittals and RFIs applicable for the welding, bolting, and coating inspections is to be included in their respective inspection line items.
