This is a draft purchase description for use in a sources sought posting. The purpose of this document is to maximize competition by allowing the industry and vendors to inform us of requirements that would restrict their ability to compete fairly, or recommend alternatives to our draft purchase description.

Missouri National Guard Parts Towers

For all units:

a) Include Installation and Set-Up

b) Minimum of a 4 year warranty, or a combined option of preventative maintenance and warranty period of 4 years.

c) Training for up to 5 individuals on the installed system

d) Exterior Dimensions of 178 inches wide X 101 inches deep.

e) Trays designed with slotted guides and movable partitions.

f) Slotted trays for individually adjusted dividers, with an INITIAL divider arrangement partitioning of 6” x 7”.

g) Designed with internal type access bay with a single delivery system.

h) Environmentally protected internal frame.

i) Durable exterior coating (i.e. powder coating or baked enamel) in an industrial neutral color

j) Lighting on the delivery platform for low light access and easy identification of items.

k) Ability to “Lock-Out” unauthorized users.

l) “Automatic” Drawer Parts Height Indexing method to utilize large parts storage.

m) Color Touch Screen operator control input

n) Fully automated control system providing complete control information including:

a. Inventory part numbers and description.

b. Inventory Locations with automatic retrieval.

c. Automatically placing trays based on maximum height required for tray contents.

d. Automatic tray weighing each time tray is returned.

e. Overweight tray safety control.

f. Software updates will be provided at no additional cost by the vendor within 90 days of software release.

g. Operate on supplied power of 480VAC, 3 Phase, 15 amps MAXIMUM.

h. Capable of installation through ceiling openings slightly larger than footprint dimensions.

i. Unit shall have a 1 year Preventative Maintenance Program commencing after warranty program expiration.

j. Vendor MUST provide demonstrated maintenance support within 250 mile radius of Springfield, Missouri. On-Site Maintenance must be with-in 24 hours of initial phone call.

k. Vendor shall stock all items listed on the “Suggested Spare Parts Inventory List” for a period of ten years after initial delivery.

CLIN 0001) Tall Small Parts Storage Tower – Quantity 2 EA

a) A Maximum of 358 inches in height.

b) 70 tray capacity (Minimum) capable of holding no less than 550 pounds per tray.

c) Tray sidewall height no less than 4.75”.

d) Unit shall have a floor loading of no more than 98 lbs/in2

CLIN 0002) Short Small Parts Storage Tower – Quantity 2 EA

a) A Maximum of 295 inches in height

b) 70 tray capacity (Minimum) capable of holding no less than 550 pounds per tray.

c) Tray sidewall height at least 2.75”

d) Unit shall have a floor loading of no more than 96 lbs/in2
