About this file

This document is a Solicitation Amendment (Standard Form 30) for a federal contract opportunity to provide meals for the South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) annual training. The solicitation covers meal services from August 16-29, 2025, at Camp Dodge, Iowa, with an estimated requirement of 2,044 breakfast meals and 1,898 dinner meals. The contractor will be responsible for providing all food, supplies, disposable serviceware, and labor, with the government providing the dining facility at Building 1375.

Meal specifications are detailed, requiring breakfast and dinner meals to include specific components like meats, starches, salads, vegetables, desserts, and beverages. The meals must comply with USDA MyPlate guidelines and be served at proper temperatures. The contract is a small business set-aside with a firm fixed price structure, and the contractor must maintain operational security, ensure proper food handling, and keep the dining area clean. The government will conduct daily inspections and spot checks to ensure 95-100% compliance with performance standards across meal quality, food transportation, cleanliness, personnel hygiene, and security requirements.
