About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ# W912LP-25-Q-4003 issued by the Iowa National Guard, dated February 6, 2025, regarding MILES gear supplies.
The Q&A clarifies that MIL-SPEC standards are not specifically required, and while Berry Amendment compliance is exempted for acquisitions under $150,000, there are excluded countries and regimes listed in the solicitation. The supplies will be used on military vehicles made of aluminum and steel with non-glossy, rough-textured paint, operating in hot, humid, and rainy conditions in Louisiana in June. The items need to remain installed for one month before removal. This is a one-time purchase for the Iowa Army National Guard, though other Army rotations will need similar supplies. The procurement is being conducted through competitive bidding, with no specific cost target provided. Product specifications such as width, color options, and fastening methods are detailed in the original RFQ.
