Answer: The Government is not currently offering a site visit. Please review details in PWS regarding facilities and newly added .pptx that provide water, facility, and street location information.

4. Question: I am requesting guidance on the following item from the PWS. Paragraph 5.2.6

Licenses and permits states that “The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required vehicle licenses required to perform sanitizing work on a Federal installation and be insured in accordance with FAR requirements. All work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry standards, manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. Handling the material must comply with the Vermont Hazardous Material and Hazardous Waste Regulations, and installation Environmental policies. Material used for the application must be in spill proof containers or in a secondary containment, the application must be done in a containment system or on a leak proof material, and the byproduct or waste must be collected and containerized in accordance with Vermont HAZWASTE standards. The contractor will coordinate with the installation environmental staff to ensure a spill response plan is in place and upon completion of the operation for proper disposal of all waste material mailto:Jacob.roy@partner.vermont.gov

d. The contractor is already approved to use existing hose bibs connected to public water supply. No other sources are available by the VTARNG.

5. Question: Is there an incumbent for this job? If so,

a. what is their name?

b. What is their contract value?

c. What is their contract number?

6. Question: Approximately (ROM guess); how many feet is it from the hose bibs to the work site?

Answer: See .pptx file “Water Sources for AgSanitization W912LN-25-Q-A001 Camp Johnson” for building, water, and street address information.

7. Question: How far apart are buildings 3 & 4 from each other?

Answer: See .pptx file “Water Sources for AgSanitization W912LN-25-Q-A001 Camp Johnson” for building, water, and street address information This question is no longer relevant. No sanitization will occur at these buildings/location Ethan Allen Firing Range.

12. PWS 5.2.3 mentions throughput may be limited to 20 pieces per day at Camp Johnson and 10 per day at Ethan Allen Firing Range. Is this a hard limit or can we propose higher daily throughput if we can demonstrate adequate capacity while maintaining quality standards

Answer: The contractor is able to process as many pieces per day as they are able to get through, provided they are maintaining quality standards. The VTARNG may be the limiting factor as the VTARNG might not be able to get a steady stream of pieces of equipment warmed to 40 degrees and dried to have unlimited through put on any given day.

Note – Amendment 1 changes the 20 to 11 pieces per day at Camp Johnson. Ethan Allen Firing Range location has been eliminated.
