Text version

The VTANG has the requirement to house Airmen from the 315th Fighter Squadron (in a dorm style/”extended Stay” manner). The current requirement is to house 13 service members. We require the capability to house up to 15 service members (currently lodging for 13 service members is forecasted for duration) for 12 months beginning on April 13, 2019. The venue selected must meet the following requirements in accordance with AFI 32-6005/6007, Clean Water Act and safe drinking water act:

· Rooms located in close proximity to one another

· Within 20 minutes commuting distance to: 45 NCO Drive, South Burlington, VT 05403

· Rooms supplied must have separate bedrooms but as many as four bed rooms can share a kitchen/facility

· Bathroom located within room for quad type design, shared bathroom for double rooms

· The following utilities included: Electric, water, heat, trash and snow removal (cable, internet and telephone are not mandatory).

· Laundry services (washers/dryers available)

· Kitchen to include the following appliances: stove/oven, large refrigerator (approximately 10-18 cubic feet) and large microwave (approximately 1.6 cubic feet)

· Video surveillance of parking lot and entrance/exits

· Parking sufficient for one car per service member

· Rooms are required to be single gender only

· Members are not authorized Pets, so no associated fees will be attached to billing

· Facility must comply with applicable federal, state, and local building/fire codes. And comply with applicable inspections by the authority having jurisdiction

· The 315th will notify the facility when a vacancy is forecasted, rooms vacant for longer than 2 months will be cancelled Given that this is a dorm style facility, room inspections will be required. USAF will supply two NCOs (uniformed supervisors) that will conduct random room inspections twice per month. The only requirement of establishment is to provide access to the dorm rooms to conduct inspections (i.e. master key/staff escort/etc.). The establishment will not be responsible to monitor, track or oversee the dorm residents in any capacity and the venue may perform their own health and wellness checks on their own free will.

Award to be based on price (lowest Price Technically Acceptable), meeting the above requirements and receiving a favorable review from ATFP. Contractor’s quote to include pricing to meet the above characteristics on a per month basis, and location of facilities. Any additional supporting documentation the vendor would like to include may be submitted.
