Clarification Questions for W912LM-23-Q-0024.

1) What are the background check requirements? Is there an FBI fingerprint requirement? We currently utilize an SSN trace, Sex Offender Registry Search, Global Watchlist check, National, State, and County Criminal Records Search.

· Whatever's required to do childcare in MN due to local and national standards (DHS will review information regarding potentially disqualifying crimes and/or conduct. This includes but is not limited to checking: criminal, maltreatment, and predatory offender databases. Find more information on what a search of each database means. Source)

2) Due to the broad range of children's ages and the number of children, we need clarification on the event space. Will there be two separate secure rooms so that the infants can be separated from the older children?

· five collocated rooms for childcare with a 25-person capacity not including the childcare providers (5 rooms will have age specifications), at a minimum two of the childcare rooms will have audio visual capabilities.

3) Will parents be responsible for picking up their children for mealtimes (aside from the morning snack mentioned in the solicitation)?

· provided by childcare provider, no parents are not responsible, childcare responsible for feeding kids, venue provides meals.

4) Are the parents of the infants and toddlers going to be responsible for bringing their own diapers and wipes?

· childcare provides, parents usually do, childcare has on hand just in case.

5) What, if any, insurance requirement is there to offer care at this location?

· n/a, usually done by childcare for childcare insurance, not requirement, usually legit/licensed personnel, reference law: 245A.152 CHILD CARE LICENSE HOLDER INSURANCE. (a) A license holder must provide a written notice to all parents or guardians of all children to be accepted for care prior to admission stating whether the license holder has liability insurance. This notice may be incorporated into and provided on the admission form used by the license holder.

6) Will there be Wi-Fi available on site?

· DoubleTree has Wi-Fi.

7) Will there be water stations provided for the children and staff?

· water provided.

8) The Combined Synopsis Solicitation outlines a single line item for quote since this is an FFP. The PWS states that the contractor can only charge for the confirmed amount two weeks prior or the number of children present, which insinuates this is a Cost-Reimbursement Contract or Time and Materials. Please clarify how you would like this response to be presented for consideration.

· Quote should include all 175 children, which is the estimated amount. Two weeks prior to the event, the CORE will notify you of the actual number of children needed for childcare. Once the contract has been completed, the vendor will invoice for the amount of minimum of the CORE two week notice or for the actual number of children above the CORE two-week notice.

9) Will there be space to set up a "nap area" for the infants/toddlers who attend?

· designated areas by age, depending on amount of people maybe but generally no.

10) Will changing tables, pack and play, bottle warmers, toys, pampers, or wipes be available in the event that parents do not furnish them when dropping off their kid(s)?

· childcare provides these things.

11) Will parents be asked to specify any allergies?

· yes, on Events+ registration.

12) Will single-use bathrooms or multi-use, gender specific bathrooms be available for the children who attend childcare?

· venue is going to be a hotel location, may be single or multi use bathrooms, unknown at this time, will be bathrooms provided.
