Q: Are the polyurethane steel insulated ribbed panel garage door the correct type of door for B641 and B680; the existing doors are sandwich doors?
A: Both buildings should get "polyurethane-coated, insulated, steel-panel doors (the "sandwich" type)

Q: B680 requests replace headers/bucks; what in the header do you want changed or is this referring to Weather Seals?
A: B680 verbiage to replace headers just means to make sure it has proper weather seals with the existing header

Q: B680 – Vendor didn’t see bucks on this door; are you wanting them added?
A: They do not need to add bucks to B680 if they are not needed

Q: B680 – SOW states tracks will be reused? Is there a reason why? Vendor states the tracks will need to be removed to remove/install the new headers/bucks and the new doors come w/tracks so there really isn’t a cost factor.
A: They may install new tracks in B680 if it doesn’t add any cost.

Q: B680 – What is meant by item 2ii4. “Components shall have a brown powder coat exterior with a white interior finish.” Is this referring the color of the overhead door? If so, the existing door has interior White and exterior tan. Do you want brown or match existing?
A: B680 door does not require a powder coat finish; the color should be standard brown (not the current tan color) to match the 685 tail door.

Q: How do you spec for color?
A: They can submit brown color samples
7.
Q: What timeframe are you looking to have the project completed?
A: Bldg. 680 October; Preferably around Oct. 6,9, or 20.
