This document is Amendment 2 to a Questions and Answers addendum for federal solicitation W912LD-26-Q-0007. The Q&A addresses vendor inquiries regarding product specifications, sourcing guidance, and delivery requirements for musical instruments and related equipment.

Product-related clarifications include corrections to instrument specifications: Item 0001 is a Selmer Series III alto saxophone (REF 2313030076), not Series II as initially listed; Item 0003 references a Selmer Super Action 80 Series II Tenor Saxophone with SKU I251775-N available through Chuck Levins; Item 0004 specifies part number 55AFJ (not 66AFJ) for a professional baritone saxophone; Item 0010 is an HX Stomp XL unit with power cord only, without case or additional bundle; Item 0012 is a Yanagisawa tenor saxophone neck (T-WO10); Item 0013 is a Series III alto neck, lacquered, with guidance to purchase through Selmer via Roberts Music RI; Item 0014 is an AD1 G57 wireless bodypack transmitter; and Item 0022 references Selmer part number 4213010001. Items 0062–0069 require Boston Sax Shop Black Label Baritone Saxophone Reeds supplied as 10 boxes with 5 reeds per box. Item 0073 is a Remo Controlled Sound 14-inch coated drumhead. Item 0079 requires only the tenor ukulele instrument if no case is included. Item 0081 clarifies the ST10 model functions best for trombone and saxophone despite trumpet marketing. The amendment specifies that alternatives are not acceptable for Boston Sax Shop reeds but are acceptable for Mus Board items, and upgraded versions of unavailable items are permissible.

Delivery requirements specify that items may be shipped in multiple shipments if longer lead times apply. Items with unit costs of $5,000 or more require unique item identifiers per DFARS clause 252.211-7003. At contract award, the awardee will receive instructions to label all packaging with the designated contract number. Deliveries to Camp Fogarty, Building 235 must occur during standard hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with no deliveries permitted on Mondays or federal holidays without prior coordination and approval.

9. Items 0062–0064: These items specify Boston Sax Shop Black Label Baritone Saxophone Reeds in a quantity of 10; however, the manufacturer only sells these reeds in 5-packs.

Should we supply two 5-packs per line item to fulfill the quantity of 10?

Please send 10 boxes with 5 per box.

10. Items 0067–0069: Similar to Items 62–64, could you confirm whether the quantities specified for these items are intended to be fulfilled using 5-packs?

Please send 10 boxes with 5 per box.

11. Item 0073: I am unable to locate a product matching the part number listed for this item. Could you confirm whether the specification and part number are correct?

Here is a link to the product we are looking to get.

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CX-0114-10--remo-controlled-sound-by-coated-drumhead-14-inch-with-black-dot?msockid=238aa583fcd661660ef6b200fd53605e

12. Item 0079: The supply list specifies a Tenor Ukulele with case, however the manufacturer lists the case as sold separately for this model. Could you specify whether a particular case is required, or whether any compatible tenor ukulele case is acceptable?

If the instrument does not come with a case, then just send the instrument.

13. Item 0081: The ST10 model is marketed specifically as a trumpet bell lyre, however the specification lists it as a Saxophone and Trombone Lyre. Could you clarify whether the ST10 is the intended product, or provide further guidance?

Correct. The website does market them for trumpets; however, the way they clamp onto the bell of the instrument, it works best for trombone and saxes. Item 0085 is what we would use for our trumpet players, it is also marketed for trumpets.

14. Can we offer alternatives of the items, for instance Reeds of Boston sax shop and Items of Mus Board?

Alternatives are NOT acceptable for Boston sax shop reeds.

Alternatives are acceptable for the Mus Board.

15. Can we offer upgraded version of any item that is no longer available?

Yes, an upgraded version of an item is acceptable.
