About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document addressing clarifications on a federal solicitation for storage and racking equipment.

The solicitation requires four standalone duffel bag locker units measuring 48"W x 30"D x 90"H with five individual lockable panels each, with size specifications fixed to the space available and no manufacturer tolerance flexibility. The contractor must deliver, assemble, and install all equipment on site, including anchoring and securing to floors, walls, or ceilings as applicable. Additionally, the solicitation calls for ten mini-rack units with the following configuration: six units at 72"L x 30"W x 87"H, two units at 96"L x 30"W x 87"H, and two units at 96"L x 48"W x 87"H. Each unit requires five adjustable beam levels with steel decking at 1200 lb. capacity per level. The caging requirement includes a single-sided cage approximately 17 feet wide, with locker pairs installed side by side. All equipment must be finished in gray powder coat. Responding firms must be registered with SAM and WAWF/iRAPT, in good standing with the government, and submit proposals including CAGE CODE/UEI number, Federal Tax Number, and company point of contact information. The specific contract clauses are referenced in attachment W912L9-26-Q-A009. No layout or drawing was provided for the caging systems.
