W912L7-19-Q-7001 Questions and Answers

23 May 2019

1. Are both the uncompiled, and compiled, Crestron programming codes available, and will the re-programming need to be done from scratch?

No compiled or uncompiled files exist for system that TV is aware of.

Link for programming codes: http://www.bionetics.com/ANG.zip

2. Is the expectation the GFE will be re-purposed, or an entirely new system ordered?

GFE is to be re-purposed.

3. Are detailed as-built drawings of the current system and equipment configurations available?

Yes.

4. Please clarify 2.4. Expectation source selection will be done at the display using locally connected cables?

We do not this reference “Expectation source selection will be done at the display using locally connected cables” in para 2.4 of SOW nor anywhere in SOW?

5. Please clarify what the “multiple AV problems exist,” mean, and to what extent.

There are daily incidents of video “drop out” of signals going to both displays and projectors in most classrooms, video failing to route to sources in most classrooms, source and destination names that need to be changed on Crestron Touch Panels in rooms 108, 110, 208, 210, etc… TEC TV has not done an exhaustive functional checkout of every possible route for classrooms. It is expected that contractor will perform a detailed system check-out of ALL signal routes, to include all room variations with rooms 108-110 & 208-210 (i.e. rm. 108 alone, rm. 108 & 109, rm. 108, 109, & 110 combined, etc…). Likewise in remaining classrooms operational checkout is expected once cabling is replaced.

6. Do we have to provide/use plenum cable? Yes, plenum cable must be used.

File details come from the government source that posted it.
