Questions

21 April 2017

1. Meal amounts: The Breakfast and Lunch pricing is noted as $16 for breakfast and $22 for Lunch. Are these amounts inclusive, or, plus service-plus applicable taxes?

Answer: Pricing should be plus your service charge.

2. Unit of Issue: In the Pricing Schedule, column 5, Unit of Issue, has acronym JO. It isn’t listed in the Performance Work Statement, 2.2 Acronyms. What does JO represent?

Answer: JO means Job

3. Lodging pricing: The per diem rate should not be taxed, correct?

Answer: Correct, Lodging should not be taxed. A tax exempt letter will be provided to the vendor who receives the award.

4. Technical Exhibit 1- 4.4: Afternoon Break is the afternoon break the lunch mentioned in the Performance Work Statement 4.4?

Answer: Please consider this section of the exhibit removed.

5. On the Pricing Schedule, do the Breakfast and Lunch meals pricing quotes get rolled into the Meeting Rooms lines, noted as 0001AB, 0002AB, and 0003AB, or are those meals not part of the Pricing Schedule?

Answer: I have updated the pricing schedule. Please see attachment in FBO.

6. We will have a parking charge per vehicle, per room, per night. I know that from the Performance Work Statement, the attendees will pay their own charges. Does that extend to the parking charges associated with the sleeping rooms, also?

Answer: Yes, attendees will pay for parking.

7. Meal Vouchers: Will they be paid by the individuals, as an incidental charge, with their sleeping rooms, or will the meeting be paying for those? Could breakfast be done in a separate meeting room for the whole group, prior to the meeting / general session function, or is it preferable that they be given the opportunity to eat individually, at their own leisure?

Answer: It is preferable that they be given the opportunity to eat individually.
