About this file

This document contains questions and answers (Q&A) related to an Occupational Health Medical Surveillance Exams contract for the Oklahoma Army National Guard. The Q&A addresses three key details: geographic service range, laboratory testing requirements, and anticipated monthly testing volume. Guards are willing to provide services anywhere within the state, with laboratory testing customized based on individual workforce hazards. A small percentage of workers may require specific tests like CBC, CMP, or urine chromium depending on Industrial Hygiene data. The expected monthly testing volume is estimated at 10-20 personnel, though the actual number depends on allotment releases from the National Guard Bureau throughout the year.

Question 1. How many miles are the guards willing to drive for these services?

• Anywhere within the state

Question 2. What labs are required along with the physical?

• Labs are dependent on personal hazards of the individual; with the new Industrial Hygiene data we are receiving, there may be specific labs related to those hazards that are needed. A small percentage of the workforce falls into this category. The provider may want to do CBC, CMP, urine chromium, or other specific testing related to hazards.

Question 3. How many per month will you send for testing (average)?

• Ideally it would be a 10-20 per month estimate, but ultimately it is dependent upon the dates and amount of allotment released by the National Guard Bureau (NGB) throughout the year.
