Contracting No site visit will be held. DFAC drawings and equipment available is part of solicitation.

3 Previous Contract PWS 5.7.1
Is the government currently satisfied with the portion sizes for meals provided by the incumbent? Please provide a sample menu on what is currently being served.
Customer
Portion sizes will be commensurate with the required 700 kCAL and nutritional balances included in 5.4.6. If you send them a 21-day menu that should answer their question.
4 Performance Work Statement PWS 5.4.7 Will the COR identify who needs more calories, or will the additional items be available to all?
Customer Additional items will be available to all.

Are disposable plates and silverware acceptable for all meals or will the contractor be required to use plates and silverware provided in the DFAC?
Customer
Disposables are acceptable to be provided with to-go, sack, and mermite meals only. The contractor will be required to use plates and silverware provided by the government for dine-in meals.
6 Performance Work Statement PWS 5.9.2
Is there an estimate of how many non-counted people might eat on a weekly basis? Can a history be provided from the incumbent submitted totals?
Customer Cor does not get a report of non counted perosnnel
7 Previous Contract Please provide an estimate of monthly or weekly meals breakdown.
Customer
Meals vary depending on month and training requirements for internal customers. Months off AT cycle can be anywhere between 150 to 400 meals each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the month. AT months can be up to 1000 meals or more depending on the amount of external customers.
8 Labor Categories Please list the Labor Categories expected to see on Schedule B. Contracting The government leaves the decision on which labor categories are necessary to complete this to the contract proposer.
9 Past Performance Questionaire
Does the contractor send the performance questionnaire to their sources that then are returned and completed in entirety to the government?
Contracting
Contractors must submit completed questionaires to the government with the final bid package. At that time the government will reach out to the previous customers and coordinate directly with them to have a questionaire filled out.
10 Past Performance Questionaire Does the contractor complete all the questionnaire information as part of the final bid package?

12 Invoicing Invoicing: Schedule B is based on cost for a year. How shall a contractor invoice monthly meals based on the yearly cost schedule?
Contracting
Schedule B is used for price evaluation. Invoices are to be submitted at the end of the period of performance for each order placed off the IDIQ based on the amount of meals provided to the government.
13 Beverages
What are the drink choices for each meal?
Customer
At a minimum, milk, juice, and water must be available for each meal. GFP is provided for the vending of all three choices and carbonated drinks as well.
