# Question Answer

1 Can I get a set of Army recipe cards (United States Army TM 10-412)?

Recipe cards are available at https://quartermaster.army.mil/jccoe/publications/food_links.html

2 Is it a possibility of having dining facility access on base during National Guard training.

Yes the vendor would have access to the facility to serve the troops. Once the vendor has been awarded the Call, they would contact the unit so they know they will need access to the facility the morning of scheduled training. Not alll locations have kitchens. All food must be prepared offsite and transported.

Could you please provide the current prices to us of these meals in the different sectors throughout the State of Arizona!

Pricing is considered a trade secret or at a minimum confidential. However, as a government entity, we have maximum cost per meal that we can pay. This applies to all vendors.

Could you provide us the locations of Kitchens that are available to us throughout the State of Arizona as well!

9 Armories within 0-25 mile range, 8 Armories within 26-90 mile range, 12 Armories within 91-231 mile range. Requirement is for various locations and frequency. Fair opportunity will be provided with each call and the specific location will be identified at the time of each call. See question 2.

Typically a statement confirming SAM Registration is sufficient to qualify for all the the FAR 52 and DFARS 252 provisions. However, that doesn't appear to be the case in your RFQ, rather each one needs to be reviewed and checked by reference to the paragraph and provide appropriate information. Is that correct?

A simple statement that your registration is current with the date of expiration is all that is required.

Am I correct to assume all RFQ's can be electronically submitted to you at the above address?

All RFQ's must be sent electronically

In Sec 3.3, it specificies the vendor shall follow the current AZARNG 21 Day menu which in the last bullet indicates see attachment 3. However, Attachment is only the options we might choose from and minimum quantities. I was looking for the actual AZARNG 21 day menu, which I couldn't find.

I will upload the 21 day menu. Vendors are not required to precisley follow the 21 day menu but it must be substantially the same.

Also on the Breakfast suggestions, Is it correctto assume that each breakfast shall include these options, ie, 3 fruit/soldier, 2 juices/soldier, 1 hot cereal/soldier, etc, etc. So is that each of those items are provided per soldier or just that you have to have a hot cereal option and a cold cereal option, 3 fresh fruit options and so on available, not per soldier.

I'm assuming that it just has to be available, Also on the Breakfast suggestions, the vendor should provide at least: Two types of fruit options (fresh or can) Two types juices Cold cereal (variety pack), hot cereal option during the winter months

In reading more closely, it doesn't appear you are requiring a 21 day menu, simply that we follow the AZANG 21 day menu. Is that correct?

See question 8

Is there any more detailed information you can provide regarding the sites and their capabilities, and/or populations, ie, do they have onsite kitchens, and if so do we have access outside of serving hours?
