About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for the JOC Audio Visual Equipment Upgrade solicitation for the Georgia Army National Guard. The project involves upgrading the audio-visual infrastructure at the Joint Operations Center located at 1000 Halsey Ave BLDG 447 in Marietta, GA, with key technical specifications including 67 total system inputs (54 current, 13 new), 14 rack-mounted inputs in the Switch Room, and equipment upgrades across multiple rooms including the main JOC room, Plans room, and Conference room. The solicitation requires replacing the current AV distribution system, updating software interfaces, and installing new switching/distribution solutions, with specific equipment requirements including Christie Digital and NEC projections systems, a Tesira server, and Cisco network switches to be provided by GA DoD.
Vendors interested in the opportunity can schedule a site visit on 9/2/2025 at 1 PM, with point of contact Mr. Gary Leaming (678-569-3929, gary.m.leaming.nfg@army.mil). The NAICS code for the solicitation is 238210 (Audio Visual Equipment Installation), and key technical considerations include 4 connections simultaneously routed in certain rooms, removal of the MC3 system, and no recycling requirements. Bidders should note specific technical details such as the absence of a Dante card on the current Tesira server, the need to interface with existing conference systems, and the requirement to remove the previously specified USB-C port requirement.
