Question & Answer
Q: Are the cable specs MILSPEC or COTS?
A: The cable specs are to be COTS.
Q: To complete the tasks, are we limited to weekends or are weekdays also open?
A: We are fine with shutting down flight operations for a week for the removal/installation of the antennas and cabling. This would be looked at as a chance to catch up on maintenance.
Q: Grounding and Lightning Protection- Assessment for the entire building or just the new install?
A: Just for the install
Q: Cross-banding capability, please specify bands/frequencies. Are you looking for full duplex operability or merely a radio that allows selecting a specific frequency between 118-137 MHZ as stated in section 6.2.2?
A: We are looking for a full duplex that can perform between low band FM 30-76 MHz and 135-225 MHz VHF.
