SOLICITATION NUMBER W912JB-16-T-8001
RPA Lockers, Bldg 6914
110th Attack Wing, Battle Creek, MI
AMENDMENT 0001
The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions that have been submitted, add CLIN 0004 to the solicitation, and post the site visit MFR:
1. Incorporate the following questions/answers into the solicitation:
QUESTION #1: What finish does the top of the lockers need to include?
ANSWER #1: The Government will accept flat unfinished tops to the lockers.
QUESTION #2 What color finishes are desired for the exterior/interior.
ANSWER #2: The Government will accept white interior melamine or laminate, and desires wild cherry color finish for the exterior. Wood grain finish would be preferred for lockers in open corridor and hallway areas.
QUESTION #3: Do the lockers in the men and women locker rooms require ventilation.
ANSWER #3: Yes, venders are to provide lockers with both upper and lower ventilation to allow air flow through lockers.
QUESTION #4: What is the 2mm solid/wood grain trim?
ANSWER #4: Venders are to provide trim to protect edges of lockers from damage due to moisture and chipping. Any effective means of protecting the edge will be accepted provided that it meets aesthetic intent and is durable in nature.
2. Add CLIN 0004 to the solicitation bid schedule:
Furnish and install 10 EA, seating benches for men and women locker rooms in Bldg 6914 at the 110th Attack Wing, Battle Creek, MI. Benches shall meet the following minimum requirements:
- 6’L x 18”W x 18”H
- 1.25 x .625” Butcher Block, cherry
- Flat Bench
- Free standing, metal base
- Powder coated T-Legs
3. Incorporate the attached site visit memorandum into the project scope of work.
4. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same.
