Idaho Army National Guard 116th Brigade Headquarters Conference Room Scope of Work

Business Goal:

Install appropriate equipment to standardize functionality of conferencing/training rooms across the organization. The room will provide self-contained presentation capabilities with an integrated room controller, wall mounted displays, wireless presentation options, ceiling mounted microphones and built in speakers. The room will provide capabilities to display content wired and wirelessly for unclassified content and wired for classified content. VTCs will be available on the unclassified and classified networks.

This is a fresh installation. Existing cabling, screens (except drop down projector screen), whiteboards and corkboards need to be removed. There is no integration of existing equipment.

Detailed Engagement Description for Conference Room:

1.) Install necessary CAT6 cabling from communications closet to the room.

2.) Install appropriate power behind displays to present a clean installation.

3.) Rack space is provided in the nearest communications room with switching capabilities for systems.

4.) Install APC PDU in the rack for required gear.

5.) Mount or place on shelf all necessary gear in the rack space provided.

6.) Mount displays on the wall at the appropriate height, no closer than 4” from the ceiling. Install backer board. The monitor arrangement will be the 85” in the center and two on each side.

7.) Install speakers in the drop ceiling.

8.) Install a hardwire input that will accept HDMI and VGA connections at each end of the table for both classified and unclassified and a third HDMI and VGA input in the backroom where a room PC will be installed.

9.) Place two Creston 10” controllers on the desk with tether up to 3’. One at each end.

10.) Wireless display in the room will be provided by three Crestron Air Media gateways.

11.) Inputs in this room will include VoIP card in switcher, 3 Creston Air Medias, VTC (classified and unclassified), 5 hardwired HDMI/VGA connections.

12.) Outputs in this room will be three 85” monitors.

13.) Program the Crestron to control power, inputs, outputs, video conference dialing, far end presentation, far end camera controls, displays, volume, and lighting, for both classified and unclassified.

14.) Install a Classified lightbox outside the door that is controlled by a switch inside the room.

15.) Install a switching device that will allow all of the equipment in the room to be used for both classified and unclassified uses except for the wireless display technologies. Each network will have its’ own codec and camera for video conferencing.

16.) SX20 is for the classified VTCs. Does not need a CCM license.

17.) SX80s are for unclassified VTCs and phone calls. There are two so that calls can cascade so that we can have more full screen participants. They will need licenses for CCM 11.5.

18.) Application that allows single computer to extend a desktop across all three 85” screens or be used individually.
