Questions & Answers Industrial Hygiene Lead Testing W912J2-20-R-0008 Question: On the PWS 3.1.2, (5 µg/ft2) is below most labs detection limit using the proposed method when only wiping a 12"x12" area. An area of 12"x24" will have to be wiped to meet the proposed detection limit. (10 µg/ft2) is the current standard reporting limit when using method EPA SW-846 7000B.
Answer: 10 µg/ft2 is acceptable for the detection limit. There should be no need for 12" x 24" wipes. The PWS has been revised to reflect this change.
Question: 3.2.2 says reports inputs must be entered into sam.gov. Is that referencing pricing and payments or the analytical data?
Answer: In regards to 3.2.2, that has nothing to do with the lab data. It is a onetime annual requirement for contractor manpower reporting (requirement for all federal contracts). It used to be called ECMRA, but has recently changed where you report to http://SAM.gov. It is due by 31 October each year.
