About this file
This is a Questions and Answers amendment to a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) solicitation.
BPA Solicitation #W912HQ26QA017 Amendment 01 provides clarifications in response to contractor inquiries regarding four line items. For Line 1, a 15kV 1/0 AWG aluminum concentric neutral cable (1,500 FT), the government specified 133% insulation level, TR-XLPE insulation material, jacketed construction, and stranded conductor configuration with concentric neutral construction set at 16 #14AWG strands. For Line 2, a 15kV 500 MCM copper concentric neutral cable (500 FT), the requirements include 133% insulation level, TR-XLPE preferred insulation, jacketed construction mandatory, and compressed stranding with 1/3 neutral at 17 #10AWG strands. For Line 11, the 500 MCM cold shrink splice kit (3 EA) is confirmed as 15kV rated with wire shielding, insulation diameter range of 0.84-1.38 inches, and manufacturer identified as 3M with corrected part number 00054007441014. For Line 12, the 500 MCM barrel compression lugs (9 barrels total, 3 PK units) require a 0.72-inch stud hole size, standard aluminum barrel construction compatible with both AL and CU conductors. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
