About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Savannah District Corps of Engineers seeking market research for maintenance dredging on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The RFI contains 10 detailed questions for potential contractors, focusing on capabilities such as dredge material pumping (up to 40,000 linear feet and 38 feet elevation), experience working in sensitive marsh environments, marine navigation areas, and Dredge Material Containment Area (DMCA) management.

The RFI targets contractors for dredging work in specific locations including Daufuskie Reach (stations 22+400 to 30+400 and 43+000 to 44+000) and Isle of Hope Reach (stations 23+414 to 36+400). The potential project magnitude is estimated at $4.1 million, with an anticipated award in the 2nd quarter of FY26. Interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), respond to the questions, and be willing to participate in follow-on discussions. Responses are due by 24 April 2025 at 11:00 a.m. eastern, with inquiries to be directed to specific USACE contract personnel.
