About this file

This file contains building specifications for a Child Development Center at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, focusing on finishes and materials for floors, walls, ceilings, and other interior components (Divisions 09-23). The specifications detail requirements for gypsum board, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, static-control flooring, and associated materials including adhesives, sealants, and accessories. Requirements include specific performance criteria for sound control, moisture resistance, fire ratings, and sustainability. Products must meet detailed technical standards for installation, testing, and warranty requirements.

The specifications are part of solicitation W912HN-25-B-4000 for the US Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District and include extensive details on approved manufacturers, colors, patterns, and finish schedules. Key components include vinyl tile flooring, ceramic wall tiles, acoustic ceiling panels, water-resistant gypsum board, and specialized static-control flooring for specific areas. The documents emphasize quality control measures, environmental conditions for installation, and detailed surface preparation requirements. Extra materials must be provided for future maintenance, typically 5-10% of installed quantities depending on the product type.
