Field evaluation of existing conditions required prior to submittal to determine suitability of mounting option.
Q. What type of material are we mounting to wood, drywall, metal?
A. Drywall, but refer to previous answer for details.

Q. Color?
A. As stated in Section 3. a. viii. of the SOW, “Color: Charcoal Gray (Selected from Manufacturer’s Standard Colors)
Q. After opening the three attachments two of them are the same document even though one is titled Shade Order and the other titled Shade Info.
A. One of the documents will be removed.
Q. Both documents show the sizes and quantities, but do not identify the solar shade brand, fabric color, opacity, ect.
Could you please provide this information?
A. Specific manufacturers are not listed. Any brand may be submitted, provided that it meets all specifications listed in the Statement of Work. Shade fabric color and opacity are identified in Section 3. a. viii. of the SOW.
Q. We see the approximate sizes and quantities, however we suspect that some of these window sizes can be combined and covered with fewer shades.
This would mean that we would need to take actual measurements for each window to ensure we have the correct sizes.
Would it be possible to take the measurements that day or the following day?
A. As stated in Section 3. b. of the SOW: “Field measurements of finished openings required prior to ordering or fabrication.” and “Large runs of multiple windows shall have one continuous shade, not individual shades. If shade length exceeds manufacturer’s maximum length of shade, shades shall be divided as equally as possible and joints centered on window mullions; butt rollers end-to-end.”
Also, as stated in Section 2. b. ii., “all questions pertaining to this SOW and to the site conditions shall be asked during this meeting. Questions may also be submitted to the Contracting Officer prior to meeting. Window measurements for bidding purposes shall commence immediately following this meeting. Upon contract award, a time for fabrication measurements can be scheduled, if needed.”
