About this file

This document is an Experience Worksheet for a Sources Sought notice related to the Rygge Munitions Storage Area Expansion project by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District. The worksheet outlines specific experience areas required for potential contractors, including capabilities in demolition, environmental remediation, site preparation, civil engineering, site layout, pavement construction, grading, drainage, utility installation, and quality control procedures. Experience is sought both as a prime contractor and subcontractor, with particular emphasis on work similar to USACE project standards.

The worksheet corresponds to a pre-solicitation opportunity for a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction contract in Rygge, Norway. The project involves constructing 20 ammunition storage magazines with a total Net Explosive Weight capacity of 3,000,000 pounds, supporting facilities including munitions assembly pads, gravel roads, security fencing, and utility connections. The estimated project value ranges from $25 million to $100 million, with a planned 707-calendar-day construction duration. USACE anticipates issuing the solicitation in December 2025, conducting a pre-proposal site visit in January 2026, and awarding the contract around July 2026.
