About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a USACE contract for lock and dam repair and maintenance. The key changes include modifications to the specifications, measurement and payment terms, disposal of abrasive blast waste, and updates to clauses and wage determinations. A site visit was conducted with interested firms listed. The solicitation is for a firm-fixed price contract with an anticipated magnitude between $25.0 and $100.0 million for the lock and dam 5A routine gate maintenance project. The NAICS code is 237990 with a $45.0 million size standard. The work includes cleaning, painting, seal replacement, and steel repairs on the dam's roller gates, with options for additional rehabilitation work. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside, to be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.
