SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been modified:

QUESTION & ANSWER

Questions & Answers

States that items are to be labeled with gender and sizes. Does each item need to be individually bagged with the labels?

o No, the items do not need to be individually bagged. Typically manufacturers tags identify gender and size, ensuring those tags (or comparable tags or stickers) are on the items.

Is there a list of the current styles being used for apparel? Brand/Style numbers? I ask this as the bid asks for up to size 5XL and very specific of moitsure/odor wicking (for tshirts and polos, for example), but most womens items only go to 3 or 4XL and for the tshirt there is only 1 style that goes to a 5XL, but it is 100% cotton and the bid asks for a cotton/poly blend.

o Within this amendment we have removed the CLINs with sizes 4XL and 5XL. Brand/Style is left to contractor discretion with a focus toward the specified technical specifications.

Does a supplier need to bid on all apparel items, or will you make multiple awards ?

o One award will be made. Suppliers will need to quote on all items. (with the updated pricing schedule within this amendment) Can you please provide your current pricing/bid tabulations from the last time this opportunity was bid?

o This is a new procurement. This program has not been under contract previously.

Who is your current vendor?

o This is a new procurement. This program has not been under contract previously.

Please provide the required embroidery size for each garment.

o They measure 3 1/16 inch wide by 2 5/16 inch tall.

Do you have a minimum stitch count for the embroidered logos?

o I have no idea what the stich count is, but I’ve been told its less than 10,000. (additional pictures attached)

Can vendors charge shipping at cost as a separate line item?

o No. Shipping must be included into each item price as a single price.

In an effort to maintain the quality of garments, can you provide the brands that you currently have?

o Brand/Style is left to contractor discretion with a focus toward the specified technical specifications.

There is a chance that not all items are made up to size 5XL. For the items that have a quantity of 1 listed, is that more of a placeholder or will those sizes be ordered?

o We are eliminating sizes 4XL and 5XL from the pricing schedule. The remaining item quantities are only estimates. List unit price for one (1) unit only.

Question & Answers #2

On the 7 oz jacket, are you expecting it to be fleece?

o No, it does not have to be fleece.

Can it be co-branded with something like the Eddie Bauer logo?

o Yes, provided it is not on the left chest, that this area is available for the USACE logo.

Is there a particular type of blue required for the backpack?

W912ES24Q0077

o Any shade of blue is allowable provided it meets the technical specs listed in the scope of work.
