About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the Bass Ponds Habitat Construction Project. The project involves construction work at the Bass Ponds, Marsh and Wetland Habitat Rehabilitation and Enhancement Project located entirely within the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The work includes habitat construction with an estimated value between $5 million and $10 million.

The amendment cancels the previously scheduled site visit and instead provides contact information for contractors to arrange independent site visits. It also adds required federal contract clauses around telecommunications equipment and services from certain countries, as well as representations and certifications regarding business with Venezuela and Kaspersky Lab. Photo documentation of current site conditions is attached to help inform contractor responses. Responses to the full and open solicitation are due from construction contractors with a NAICS code of 237990. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District Office in St. Paul is the contracting agency overseeing the project for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
