About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of sling sets with shackles for the National Flood Fight Material Center, issued by the U.S. Army Garrison at Rock Island Arsenal under solicitation W912EK26QA056. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside, with an offer due date of September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM CST. Award will be made to the offeror providing the lowest price quote that meets specified requirements, with pricing to be determined fair and reasonable by the Government.

The procurement calls for 600 assembled sling and shackle units, 5 shipping crates, and 1 delivery lot, all scheduled for delivery on or before December 17, 2026, to Rock Island Arsenal in Moline, Illinois. Specific technical requirements include sling leg eye and eye wire rope slings (6x25 or 6x36 wire rope, 20 feet long) with working load limits of 7,000-10,000 lbs and ultimate capacity of 35,000-50,000 lbs, manufactured to ASME B30.9 standards; and screw pin anchor shackles pre-attached to one eye end with minimum 7,000 lbs working load and 35,000 lbs ultimate capacity, manufactured to ASME B30.26 standards. Each unit must be assembled prior to delivery with 100 units per shipping container. Offerors must be registered in sam.gov at the time of quote submission and throughout contract duration. Quotes should include three volumes: a cover letter with company details, a signed SF 1449 form, and a detailed priced quote. Inspection and acceptance will occur at both the origin and destination, with contractor responsible for transportation costs for the first two line items and the Government responsible for the delivery item.
