About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for the ILWW Roofs project. The document contains two questions and their responses from the Army Corps of Engineers.
The first question concerns a contractor's suggestion to replace existing coping rather than install slip flashing due to wall configuration and warranty concerns, but the Army directs bidders to follow the original Statement of Work without changes. The second question asks if the Army has drawings or building plans for the roofs requiring work, to which the Army responds that no plans are available but pictures are attached in SAM (System for Award Management).

ILWW Roofs – Questions and Answers
Q: Due to the wall configuration, a slip flashing below the existing coping isn’t recommended and likely will raise warranty issues. In our estimate, to replace the coping would be nearly the same cost but would provide a much better finish.
A: No change to the SOW. Please bid per the SOW
Q: Does the Army have any drawings or building plans for the roofs that require work?
A: Nothing, but pics attached in SAM.
