1.1 Introduction: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to repair the McNary powerhouse HVAC Controllers as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The powerhouse HVAC system works hand in hand with project life safety requirements. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this PWS.

1.2 Purpose: Repair existing Honeywell AX temperature control system. At present time, McNary does not have automatic control of the system, cannot see any equipment and/or device status from the field, and it cannot automatically operate in an emergency smoke situation, which is detrimental to life safety.

1.3 Scope: Paragraph 4.1 of this document details the specific requirements of this contract.

1.4 Period of Performance: The Period of Performance (POP) for this work is four weeks (thirty-one days) after award of contract. If more time is required, it will be communicated before contract is awarded.

When the defects in services cannot be corrected by re-performance, the Government may (1) require the Contractor to take necessary action to ensure future performance conforms to contract requirements and (2) reduce the contract price to reflect the reduced value of the services performed.

1.7.3 If the Contractor fails to promptly re-perform the services or to take the necessary action to ensure future performance in conformity with contract requirements, the Government may by contract, or otherwise (1) perform the services and charge to the Contractor any cost incurred by the Government that is directly related to the performance of such service or (2) terminate the contract in whole or in part.
