All diving operations shall be considered incidental to the work specified elsewhere herein. No separate payment for diving work will be made.
1.2 ANTICIPATED DIVING ENVIRONMENT
The diving environment consists of the following:
a. Water depth is 50 to 60+ feet. Anticipated Dive depth less than 40 feet.
b. Water temperature less than 40 degrees F (hot water dive suits required).
c. Water velocity less than 1 knot.
d. Visibility less than 5 feet.
e. Hazards may include but will not be limited to penetration diving and/or diving in an overhead environment.
fe. Unit and Spillway outages required for dives. Coordinate Spillway outage with the COR a minimum of 2 Government work days prior to anticipated dive date. Coordinate any required Unit outages a minimum of 1 week prior to anticipated dive date.
g. Penetration Dives are required.
