About this file

This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for inspection, operation, maintenance, repair, reconstruction and rehabilitation services for four Mississippi lakes managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District. The amendment modifies pricing details in Section B, updates staffing requirements and overhead rates in Sections C and L, replaces an exhibit, removes a CLIN for Sardis Lake, and adjusts the quantity and unit of issue for mowing and trimming CLINs. It also incorporates slides from a site visit and extends the deadline for submission of inquiries through ProjNet to June 17, 2022. The solicitation seeks a single five-year cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with some firm-fixed price line items for services such as equipment maintenance, recreation area upkeep, erosion control, and unplanned maintenance activities at Arkabutla Lake, Enid Lake, Grenada Lake, and Sardis Lake.

4. In accordance with FAR 16.301-3(a)(3), the Offeror’s accounting system must be adequate under cost-reimbursable contracts. If costs are not anticipated for a particular item or category listed in the paragraph entitled "Organization and Format of Budgetary Accounting Systems," then a statement should be included in the cost proposal to that effect. Also, cost information for Government-requested purchases of equipment materials, supplies, and services for the Government is not required and shall not be included in the estimated contract cost computation (Section B).

No additive cost such as overhead, G&A expense, fees, or profit shall be added to the vendor's purchase price for these Government-requested purchases. The cost information shall also be summarized for each contract year to provide total annual estimated contract costs which equate to those shown by the offeror in Section B.
