Virtual Industry Day Announcement
I. ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION
The purpose of this announcement is to invite businesses to a Virtual Industry Day Conference that will allow the Government to provide valuable information to industry regarding the subject acquisition, answer questions concerning the requirement, gather information to support the acquisition approach, and receive buy-in from industry. The Virtual Industry Day will also provide networking opportunities, and we encourage small business participation to increase the visibility of potential small business opportunities. The agenda will consist of an overview of the scope of work, preliminary acquisition approach, tips and best practices for small businesses, and a question and answer session.
Date and Time: 23 December 2018, 1:30 – 2:30 P.M. Central Standard Time (CST)
Location: The Virtual Industry Day will be held via Audio & Web Meeting (see Registration Requirements below for conference access).

AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
II. PROJECT INFORMATION
The Government's objective is to procure a contractor who has the capability to support multiple Indefinite Delivery Contract task orders simultaneously at various geographical locations throughout the Contiguous United States and outside the Contiguous United States.
The BMD A-E services will include but is not limited to providing technical support for designs in support of new and existing facilities/sites, including facility/sites ancillary structures, to further the deployment of the Missile Defense Programs for the Government. Specific A-E Services requirements are expected to include, but will not be limited to the preparation of design criteria, architectural and engineering designs, specifications, design-related analyses and studies, economic analyses and cost estimates for missile launch, radar, test and evaluation, administrative and training facilities. Additional support may include environmental documentation, permits, special studies, and other environmental activities as required by federal, state and local laws and regulations; feasibility studies, other studies, geotechnical investigations and topographical mapping services, programmatic support services, manuals, as-built drawings, and engineering and design support during construction.
Work will be accomplished through performance based work statements stating the measurable performance standards and the terms of the required results. This support may call for extensive domestic and foreign travel. The contractors and subcontractor personnel shall be able to obtain necessary security clearances and visas/passports. In addition the contractor must demonstrate possession of an active secret facility clearance and a certified cost accounting system at the time of proposal.
The Government is seeking to identify qualified small and large business sources under the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541330, Engineering Services. The small business size standard is $15 million.
CEHNC anticipates awarding a contract for a thirty-six (36) month base ordering period and one twenty-four month (24) month optional ordering period. The anticipated program capacity is approximately $249 million.
