Construct Fire Station Bay Storage Area at Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB), Montana

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL,

REQUEST FOR QUOTE, OR INVITATION FOR BID. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION,

SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, is seeking interested business sources for a construction project titled: “Construct Fire Station Bay Storage Area. at Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB), Montana”

Proposed project will be a firm fixed-price construction project. In accordance with FAR36.204(g), construction magnitude is estimated to be in the range of $5,000,000-$10,000,000 100 percent payment and performance bonds will be required.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the associate small business size standard is $45,000,000.

This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work and is for information/market research purposes only.

A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. NO SOLICITATION IS

The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon information received in response to this source sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this source sought notice or any follow up information. Responses to this source sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested firms should respond to this notice no matter what business size under NAICS 236220

Unsolicited proposals will not be accepted. Further, proprietary information is not being requested at this time, and respondents shall refrain from providing proprietary information in response to this source sought notice. No award will be made from this source sought notice. This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT:

The facility will be an approximately 20,000 square foot facility that will provide storage for the Fire Emergency’s Services equipment and trailers. The facility includes a minimum of 10 trailer parking stalls, a dedicated foam storage room, a single use ABA compliant restroom, wash bay, and additional utility support spaces.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience with the construction of fire emergency services facilities, including specialized storage solutions for emergency response equipment and trailers, as well as experience with pre-engineered metal buildings, including integration of large bay openings and vehicle/trailer storage requirements.

Demonstrated experience with construction of facilities in remote or extreme climate locations, addressing logistical challenges, material durability, and seasonal constraints.

Demonstrated experience with the construction of facilities featuring drilled pier and grade beam-supported foundations, ensuring structural stability in varying soil conditions.

Demonstrated experience with MILCON projects, ensuring compliance with Unified

Facilities Criteria (UFC), Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements, and any applicable DoD design & construction standard practices on military installation.

Demonstrated experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the delivery of final

Record BIM, Facility, and CAD Data files reflecting as-built conditions, ensuring compliance with DoD documentation standards.

SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Interested firms should submit a capabilities package limited to 3-4 pages (exclude Joint Venture and Bonding information from page count) and include the following:

1. Firm’s name, address (mailing and URL), point of contact, phone number and email address.

2. CAGE code and UEI of your firm.

3. Your company's primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s).

4. Business classification, i.e., state whether your firm is classified by the Small Business

Administration as any of the following or is Other Than Small Business:
