About this file
This document is a Condition Survey related to the Everett Clamshell Dredging contract opportunity. It provides detailed hydrographic survey data and mapping of the Snohomish Channel in Everett Harbor, Washington. The survey was conducted from April 1-4, 2024 to identify the current depth and contours of the channel. Key details include:
The project area covers approximately 6 miles of the Snohomish Channel, with varying depths and widths. The channel is divided into multiple segments, with project depths ranging from 8 feet to 40 feet. The survey data includes shoaling areas, placement sites, and navigation aids. This information will be used to support the upcoming dredging solicitation, W912DW24B0016, which is being issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District. The new contract will maintain the federal navigation channel through clamshell dredging.
