About this file

Summary

This is a Sources Sought notice from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, for the Finderne Farms Wetland Mitigation Site project located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The project encompasses heavy and civil engineering construction services involving the planting of approximately 6,500 trees, 11,000 shrubs, and 18,000 herbaceous plugs across 17 wetland and riparian planting zones ranging from 0.7 to 11 acres in size. Additional work includes installation of deer fencing and goose exclusion measures, removal and disposal of 22 linear feet of existing 14-inch crushed culvert, construction of a replacement 22 linear feet 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) Class V culvert with concrete headwalls and supportive cradle, and fabrication and replacement of interpretive signage. The project is currently in the plans and specifications development phase prior to formal solicitation.

This Sources Sought notice is intended to identify potential contractors capable of performing the described mitigation work and to gather information regarding contractor capability, experience, and availability. The notice does not constitute a binding solicitation or commitment to award a contract, but rather serves as a market research tool for the Army Corps of Engineers to understand the competitive landscape and identify qualified sources for the eventual formal procurement.
