About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for FY 26 Stockton Refuse Collection, dated October 27, 2025. The Q&A provides clarifications on refuse collection services for multiple areas including Admin Areas, Powerhouse, Stockton Group Camp, and Old Mill Ball Field. Key details include a 12-month period of performance from December 1 through November 30, with once-weekly pickups for various dumpster sizes (2cy and 6cy) at different locations. The service schedule varies by season, with consistent weekly pickup frequencies but different dumpster sizes during regular season (April through September), shoulder season (October, November, March), and off-season (December, January, February).
The document addresses three specific questions seeking clarification on pickup dates, dumpster quantities, and location names. Notably, the responses confirm year-round service at the Admin Area (6cy dumpster) and Powerhouse (2cy dumpster), and verify that "Stockton Group" corresponds to the 2-CY location on the Stockton Map. The Q&A provides a detailed matrix showing dumpster sizes and quantities for different areas across seasonal variations, ensuring precise understanding of the refuse collection requirements for potential bidders.

Q&A #1 October 27, 2025
Questions and Answers #1
FY 26 Stockton Refuse Collection
Question 1: Clarification is needed on "Supplemental Bid Schedule Refuse Services Stockton Lake Project" CLIN 0001 "Admin Areas"
a. The RFQ states "Once weekly pickups 1 December through 30 November (2 Dumpsters)".
i. Please clarify if this is actually "Once weekly pickups 1 November through 31 December (2 Dumpsters)"
b. The RFQ states "Once weekly pickups 1 December through 30 November (2 Dumpsters)", then for Qty and Unit it states 12 months.
i. Please clarify if this is actually "Once weekly pickups 1 November through 31 December (2 Dumpsters)" only or if this is once weekly pickups for 12 months, so each week year-round.
Answer 1a.: The Period of Performance is for a twelve (12) month period from December 1 through November 30. The admin area does not change on services throughout the period of performance. So it would continue the same with “Once weekly pickups 1 December through 30 November (2 Dumpsters- a 2cy at the Admin and a 2cy at the Powerhouse).
Answer 1b. Yes, this is once weekly pickups, year a round during the 12-month period of performance Dec. 1 through Nov. 30.
Question 2: Clarification is needed on "7.6 Technical Exhibit Dumpster Locations and Collection Schedule"
a. The RFQ states "July Admin/Powerhouse Once Per Week (1) 6 cy"
i. Our current contract shows that we do "July Admin/Powerhouse Once Per Week (1) 2cy and (1) 6cy". Please clarify if there should be (1) 2 cy in addition to the listed (1) 6cy in July on the RFQ.
Answer 2: In Attachment 7.7.1 DUMPSTER LOCATION MAPS of the Performance Work Statement, you will see the location of the dumpsters that at that Admin area we’ve requested the 6cy dumpster and at the Powerhouse you will see a 2-cy dumpster requested at that location.
Q&A #1 October 27, 2025
Attachment 7.7 also gives the quantities and dumpster locations which indicate year-round the 6cy at the admin area and a 2cy at the Powerhouse. We are requesting that both these locations and size dumpsters requested be services once a week throughout the period of performance. (I attached a correction to the 7.6, I realized the July pickup for the Powerhouse was omitted by mistake.)
