About this file

This document is a solicitation (SF-1442) for a roof replacement project at the Rathbun Lake Project Office in Centerville, Iowa. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to remove and replace a 40-year-old built-up roof (BUR) with a standing seam roof, and replace guttering and downspouts. The project is a small business set-aside with an estimated value between $25,000 and $100,000, using NAICS code 238160 for Roofing Contractors.

The solicitation (W912DQ25QA007) includes a base contract line item (CLIN) and an optional CLIN, with a 180-day performance period from the Notice to Proceed. The project requires removing the existing roof down to the deck, installing new standing seam roofing, and completing associated metal work. Interested contractors must have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration. A site visit is planned, and proposals are due by July 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM local time, with submission required via email to specified U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contacts.
