About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for the construction of a consolidated vehicle maintenance facility at Whiteman Air Force Base. The amendment extends the proposal due date from April 6, 2021 to April 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM CDT. It also increases the period of time for considering past performance experience from five to ten years and the level of project completion from 90% to be considered substantially complete. The unrestricted, full and open competitive solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price construction contract awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District for the design and construction of a two-story vehicle maintenance facility, including areas for general and special vehicle maintenance, an overhead crane, paint booth, and supporting site utilities and infrastructure. Small businesses are encouraged to consider teaming arrangements to meet bonding and financial requirements for this project valued between $10-25 million.
