All joints shall be neat, straight, and evenly spaced to provide a specific plane of weakness to control cracking. Joints shall be cut to correspond with joints in adjacent concrete pavement or adjusted as agreed to by COR. Joints shall be located such that no individual slab exceeds 15-ft x 15-ft. Expansion joint filler (½-inch min.) shall be placed between existing concrete and new concrete where required.
