The following have been added by full text:
AMENDEMENT 0001
The SOLICITATION is amended as follows:
NOTE: Deleted text is shown with strikethrough. Added text is shown with underline.
1. SPECIFICATIONS:
a. Section 35 41 00 Paragraph No 3.11.2 Breach Repair Station 125+00 to 126+65; Three (3) Landside Slope Failures Station 48+40 to 51+40, 88+15 to 93+390, & 149+00 to 154+50; and Intermittent Riverside Slope Erosion Station 259+00 to 321+25
Stated repairs require placing compacted fill material into erosion areas with the embankment smoothed and shaped and all disturbed areas being seeded and mulched. Repairs done will need to match crown and slopes that are existing adjacent to those repair areas in the field. Repaired levee template will be an approximate levee crown width of 12' and 1-foot vertical on 3-foot horizontal slopes. Repairs of Landside Slope Failures Stations 48+40 to 51+40, 88+15 to 93+390, & 149+00 to 154+50 requires construction of a landside stability berm along the levee embankment and excavation of all failed material located within the limits of damage. Landside berm configuration will start 12-feet down from levee crest elevation and extend on a 1-foot vertical on 20-feet horizontal slope for 20-feet then on a 1-foot on 3-feet horizontal slope to toe-out. See C-1 Drawing in Attachment 3: Garden of Eden Section 2 Levee Site Maps.
Designated borrow materials are identified in B-1 & B-2 Site Maps in Attachment 3: Garden of Eden Section 2 Levee Site Maps by proximity to repairs being done. (24,760 Excavation, 12,380 CY Re-Usable Fill, 22,575 CY Fill, & 11.85 AC Seeding/Mulching)
b. Specification Section 35 41 00 Paragraph 3.11.3 Landward Setback Repair Station 321+25
(Setback Sta. 0+00) to 336+75 (Setback Sta. 15+50)
All referenced elevations shall be based from a Government established TBM hub driven in levee crown at approximate levee station 320+00. TBM is an assumed elevation of 100.00. The government shall provide initial centerline staking of the new landward levee setback alignment.
Stated repairs require constructing an approximate 1,550-linear feet long new landward setback levee (see B-3 Site Map & C-3 Drawing in Attachment 3: Garden of Eden Section 2 Levee Site Maps). New setback levee shall be constructed with a 12-foot wide crown width, with 1-foot vertical on 3.0-feet horizontal side slopes. Base grade elevation for landward setback levee is elevation 100.00 at station 321+25, maintaining "flat" grade (i.e. 100.00) throughout entire setback construction then sloping upward to elevation 103.0 at station 334+75, maintaining elevation
103.0 to end station 336+75. Base grade elevation is design grade lines and not shrinkage grade lines.
Partial designated borrow materials are remaining segments of existing original levee (approx.
levee sta. 321+25 to 333+75). Borrow excavation shall commence on the newly constructed riverside levee toe-line at start of end of setback to use the entire old levee footprint located on the outside (riverside) of setback, so as not to impose on flows during high water events. Borrow area shall have positive drainage away from the newly constructed levee.
Designated borrow materials are identified in B-3 Site Map in Attachment 3: Garden of Eden Section 2 Levee Site Maps by proximity to repairs being done. (56,400 CY Fill, 0.5 AC Timber Clearing, & 4.36 AC Seeding/Mulching)
2. DRAWINGS:
a. Garden of Eden plan sheet B-1 updated Borrow “B” notes.
3. Offerors are required to acknowledge receipt of this amendment on the Bidding Form in the space provided. Failure to acknowledge all amendments may cause rejection of the proposal.
4. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force.
