Two gate well structures, one 30" water line relocation, one 16" sanitary sewer, and several smaller related features and appurtenances are also to be constructed. The earthen levee to be constructed will have a maximum height of approximately 30ft, but typical height is less than 20ft. The levee embankment will be constructed of compacted impervious fill placed on the riverside slope and random fill on the landside slope, with a 10 ft. crest width and 1(V) on 3(H) side slopes. Stability berms 30 ft. wide will be placed 20 ft. below the levee crest on both riverside and landside slope where the levee is taller than 20 ft. The stability berms will be constructed of random fill. Dynamic compaction will be utilized in areas where there are existing fill material in the foundation consists of largely non-organic debris in a soil matrix. .
