About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) Purchase by USAG Alaska Ft. Wainwright DPTMS. The RFI provides answers to 12 vendor questions covering key procurement details, including acceptable manufacturers (Kubota, Bobcat, and John Deere are comparable), winterization requirements (normal Fairbanks climate recommendations will suffice), and vehicle specifications (2-passenger capacity).

Key submission and delivery details include a proposal due date of September 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM AKST, base access requirements for delivery personnel, and local maintenance facilities in Fairbanks. Additional requirements include simple operator training, no specific cold-weather performance certification needed, and no additional warranty terms beyond standard manufacturer warranties. Vendors are permitted a five-page technical narrative submission with no specific file size limitations, and the contracting office aims to establish requirements well ahead of the fiscal year 2025 end.
