QUESTIONS FROM VENDORS
SITE VISIT 11 OCT 2018
1. What is the correct definition of price book Item Number 0003A and Item Number 0001A? Is the term “JA” (JOB) referring to a lump sum for one month, one treatment, or one year?
For all ELINs identified as “JA” Job in Attachment 9 Price Book, insert the lump sum for the whole Period of Performance (PoP) of each respective contract year.
2. How many sewer drain manholes are located in the Hainerberg area?
See Attachment 11 – Hainerberg Manholes.
3. Regarding Attachment 9 Price Book, should we enclose the costs for a possibly needed cherry picker in our price per job in CLIN 0001C, CLIN 1001C and CLIN 2001C? Or is it planned to reimburse the costs for the cherry picker against CLIN 0005, CLIN 1005, CLIN 2005, CLIN 0006, CLIN 1006 and CLIN 2006?
See Para # 1.3 Scope: “The Contractor shall provide non-personal pest surveillance and control services, and shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, and transportations necessary to provide comprehensive integrated pest management within the USAG Wiesbaden footprint.”
All equipment to be utilized during performance shall be provided by the Contractor at no additional costs.
The Government will not provide a cherry picker.
4. Is it right that we do not include any costs for rodenticides, insecticides, bait stations, etc. in our quote because they are reimbursable against CLIN 0005, CLIN 1005, CLIN 2005, CLIN 0006, CLIN 1006 and
CLIN 2006 ?
This is correct.
5. Is it planned to post the attendance list from today’s site-visit on the FBO site?
No, the attendance list will not be posted to FBO. Only the questions and answers from the site visit will be posted to FBO.
6. Does someone have to be on post at all times?
If the requirements on site - Scheduled and On-Demand services - have been completed, Contractor personnel are not required to stay at the installation during normal work hours. Outside of normal work hours, the Contractor may be off site and must respond in accordance with PWS 5.3.
7. Will the Government provide a space for the Contractor to work on site?
The Government will provide one (1) desk space with a DSN telephone line.
8. Will the Government provide a space for the Contractor to store supplies and equipment?
The Government does not have an enclosed space for the Contractor to store supplies and equipment.
The Government will provide space for a Contractor-provided container to store supplies and equipment.
This will be coordinated with the COR after contract award. The Contractor must comply with US and Host Nation laws regarding proper storage of allowable materials on the Government site.
9. Who is responsible for coordinating the oak processionary caterpillar spraying?
The Government will determine the schedule for oak processionary caterpillar spraying and coordinate with the Contractor.
10. Can the Government provide a tree profile with data about all trees for which the Contractor is responsible for on this contract?
Yes, the Government will provide this information. See Attachment 10 - Oak Trees Profile, posted to FBO.
11. What is the difference between AFH and OMA on the CLINs?
These are internal designators; there is no difference in the type of services to be provided for each of these CLINs. AFH refers to Army Family Housing locations. OMA refers to other facilities and buildings.
12. How will services be scheduled for Dagger Complex?
The COR will schedule regular maintenance services six (6) weeks in advance. Issues like infestations will require immediate services. There are no oak processionary caterpillar services required at Dagger Complex.
13. What is the biggest pest control problem at the Dining Facility (DFAC)?
The biggest problem is flies. No hanging fly traps are allowed. The DFAC may get an air curtain.
